🚗 This Thursday is the last chance to put your mark on the First Rapscallion/HOPS foundation Derby car before the Demo Derby at the Spencer Fair on Friday night, August 30th!
Come on down to Rapscallion Spencer Thursday 8/29 from 5-8pm and with a minimum $15 donation that will go to our Rapscallion HOPS Foundation to support the hyper-local community, you can have a square on the car to write your personal message. Let’s do this!

We`ve got some mouth-watering specials at our Sturbridge Pub this week! Pictured top to bottom are Lobstah Tater Tots topped with a quarter pound of lobster, chowder, and cheddar curds; the Fuhgettabowtit is meatballs cooked in Rapscallion’s world famous, internationally acclaimed marinara sauce, topped with basil pesto, ricotta cheese, and red pepper flakes, served on toasted hoagie roll; and for dessert we have Bread Pudding made with croissant, raisins, served warm and topped bourbon crème sauce. All registered runners have been sent two emails with this info - please check your junk folder! If you don`t have them, the info is below. And of course, reach out with any questions! YES, we will have same day registration starting at 8am! You can also register tonight at Spencer Brewery 4-7pm.
We are excited to see you at O`Gara Park this Saturday, August 24 for the Running Out Of Summer 5K. Please review the important information below and reach out with any questions. See you Saturday!
Bib Pick Up:
You may pick up your race packets at the following places and times:
Friday, August 23: 4pm-7pm at Rapscallion Brewery, 8 Meadow Road, Spencer
Saturday, August 24: 8am-9:45am at O`Gara Park, 99 Valley Street, Spencer
Parking:
There is plenty of parking right at O`Gara Park. Volunteers will be assisting with parking. Please follow their directions to create a smooth morning for all involved.
Drink Tickets:
Each runner will receive one Rapscallion drink ticket that can be redeemed either at bib pickup at the Brewery or after the race for one Raps beer or spiked seltzer. We will be checking IDs so please bring yours! You may also keep your ticket for use by 12/31/24.
Raffles:
If you want to participate in the raffle, please bring cash to buy your raffle tickets. The raffle will be drawn at 11:45am and you must be present to win.
Awards:
Overall and Age Group Winners will be announced at 11:15am.
Other Info:
Dogs, strollers, walkers, children, and running chairs are welcome. Sorry, NO bikes! There will be water and bananas/granola bars after the race. There will also be Raps beer/seltzer available for using your drink ticket or for purchase, cash or credit.
