David Rubin is a multi-talented musician — guitarist, singer-songwriter, bandleader, producer, audio engineer, educator, and tonight, solo performer. A veteran of the Grateful Dead, Jamband, and festival scene throughout New England, David delivers unique solo acoustic shows that appeal to many audiences. His solo setlists weave together Grateful Dead and other Jamband tunes, classic Country/Folk Americana, Classic Rock, as well as occasional originals from his band “Daydream.” With his unique approach to improvisation and with the help of a looper, he brings these performances to life to create a dynamic and rich experience. His tribute act, Diamond Blues, has residencies in Greater Boston at both The Burren and The Midway Cafe.
