Your bravery doesn’t go unrewarded, each paid entry includes a $5 Rapscallion drink ticket! Redeem it at the bar to enjoy ANY adult beverage for just $5. Even a wine slushie!  Your drink ticket is good all weekend long.

All guests must have their hand stamped upon entry—this is your key to both the haunted house and your discounted drink.

PubWiser packs six unique games into one fun-filled evening. The energy stays high, and the competition stays fresh from start to finish.

Each week, you’ll face a mix of categories designed to challenge your brain and keep you on your toes. From pop culture and music to history, sports, and random “wild card” rounds, no two weeks are ever the same. Weekly themes keep things extra exciting, so whether you’re a movie buff, science whiz, or sports fanatic, there’s always a chance for your team to shine.

By day, Nerd Alert transforms Essex Art Center into a playground for pop culture fans of all kinds. Browse through a vibrant marketplace of vendors, artists, and creators offering everything from comics and collectibles to original art and handmade treasures. Dive into panels, video games, board games, film screenings, and cosplay. Or, simply spend the day connecting with fellow fans and local talent. Expect plenty of color, creativity, and a few surprises along the way—including food, fun, and family-friendly activities.

Then when the sun goes down, the fun levels up. Head to Rapscallion for the Nerd Alert Burlesque Show. A dazzling, cheeky celebration. Doors open at 7PM, show at 8PM, featuring a lineup of performers inspired by fandoms stretching from the Final Frontier to Middle-earth (and plenty of stops in between). It’s bold, witty, and unapologetically geeky.
