TOY MONSOON – Toy Monsoon is a power pop trio from Boston, MA, led by brothers Jeff and Andy Abbott. We play bright, hook-filled rock with three-part harmonies and a driving edge — straight out of that classic 60s/70s power pop sound. Influenced by Todd Rundgren, Harry Nilsson, and the British Invasion, we write songs that go from intimate ballads to full-on rockers, all delivered live with the harmonies that set us apart as a trio. Right now we’re playing all over the Boston area (recent runs at The Jungle, Middle East Upstairs, O’Brien’s, Red Room, The Silhouette) and starting to branch out to Providence and NYC.
