Stained Glass For Beginners

Introductory Stained Glass Class – 4 Weeks with Mikayla Leonard of Prism Art

Learn the basics in this fun and creative 4-week workshop taught by Mikayla Leonard, owner of Prism Art and beloved bartender at Rapscallion!

Over four weeks, Mikayla will guide you step-by-step through the stained glass process:

• Choosing a pattern that suits your style
• Cutting glass with precision
• Grinding edges for a perfect fit
• Foiling your pieces in preparation for assembly
• Soldering your project into a stunning finished piece

By the end of the course, you’ll have two completed stained glass projects to take home — perfect to display or gift.

No experience necessary. All materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided, but please bring the following personal items:

• Safety glasses
• Silver and black Sharpie markers
• Waterproof gardening gloves
• Clean cotton rags for polishing
• Old or new toothbrush for cleaning

Bonus: Enjoy your favorite drink from the Rapscallion bar while you create!
